Here’s How It Works
If you have a slab leak, the water line running under your home has failed. Finding which line is the bad one has caused many people to experience numerous holes being jack hammered in their homes. Well, those days are over. Now, we locate the leak electronically. Sure, there are still companies out there that will tell you they need to start breaking holes in your floor to find the problem, but at Plumbing Doctor, we have invested in technology to save you from having to suffer through a massive demolition project to repair a small leak under your home.
First, we energize the water lines so the electronic equipment can locate it. Then, with our digital locator, we start tracing the line.
When we find it, we isolate that line to determine whether or not it is the leaker.
When we have the leaky pipe isolated, we determine the best possible solution to repair it. Most of the time, we suggest bypassing the line by running a new one. This eliminates the need to break up any concrete.
